

Pastor Harry D. Hunter was born July 6, 1957, Durant, Mississippi. Pastor Hunter is a product of Holmes County Schools and graduated from Durant Attendance Center High School in 1978. He served in the United States Army for 15 years. Duty stations included, Fort Sill, Oklahoma, Fort Hunter Liggett, California, and Korea. Pastor Hunter attended, Hart Nell University, California, Central Texas College, Killeen, Texas, Liberty University, Lynchburg, Virginia, and Trinity Theology Seminary, Bentonia, Mississippi.
Pastor Hunter was called to preach in 1988. He served as an assistant pastor at Sweet Home Baptist Church, Lexington, Mississippi under the leadership of the late Reverend L.B. Hathorne. In 1997 he was ordained as pastor at Rose Bank Baptist Church, Tchula, Mississippi. In 2003, to present, he serves as senior pastor at Ogden Baptist Church, Bentonia, Mississippi.
